Emajen Turns Two Years Old
In this issue:
- What’s New
- Service Updates*
- Moving Forward
Emajen is more than web design.
There is much more:
Partnerships & Strategic Alliances
Cloud i9, New Media Architects
Last year Ben Kuchera and I started working together on projects with an emphasis on video. His company Cloud i9 and Emajen are producing high quality video material for our clients.
As a part of this service we’re using Youtube, integrating video into our client website then syndicating to popular networks based on our client needs.
We are polishing our most recent projects and gearing up for the launch into local and social profiles. A new construction of emajen.com will include a video wall to showcase over 20 productions for our clients.
Here are the latest two projects:
Email List & Newsletter Marketing
Email marketing is a powerful tool. We support and provide the Constant Contact service for Email Campaign and Event Marketing under the Emajen brand.
We started testing this amazing service with several clients in late 2010. It’s been a pleasant experience and we’ve worked out the details to provide and manage Constant Contact email services.
We’re offering 15% off what you would pay with Constant Contact to let us mange your next email campaign. And we’ll actually do the work for you 😀 We will work with you to build your email list and manage each campaign as well as customize your email..
Relative Local Search Advertising
CityGrid media has partnered with Emajen to deliver an optimized solution for advertising on the web. This advertising compliments the presence and rank of your website in Google, Yahoo & Bing.
CityGrid is a sister company to Urbanspoon, Citysearch, and Insiderpages. They have partnerships with over 600 local profiles.YP.com, AOL, CBS Local, Superpages, Yellowbook, Yellowpages, Mapquest, even Pandora and so many more.
This is a month to month service and we’re happy to announce that there are no longer setup or monthly listing fees. Previously you had to pay a $99.99 setup and $19.99 monthly fee. This is no longer the case.
We can offer competitive local advertising across relevant profiles in our huge network for as little as $200.00 month and there are no contracts. We’re also able to offer at no additional cost, a metered phone line to track calls. It feels good to show our clients where their business is coming from.
Server Migration WHMCS
We are migrating to a new hosting provider. Our new server uses the latest in technology to handle our hosting, emails, websites, applications, domain registration and a lot more. It will allow us to automate billing for our hosting services, as well as automate account management.
We are now selling domain names so our clients can purchase and register their domains with Emajen. Our clients can still control their domain name.
The Technical Stuff:
IP addresses have been obtained and custom nameservers setup so we can handle propagation of DNS, the address your web and email go to.
Nameservers are set to ns1.emajenweb.com and ns2.emajenweb.com We’re running this off a data center in Texas from a server in Washington, DC.
WHMCS, our service automation, provisioning, support and billing software is at https://emajen.com/whmcs
During the months of March and April we will be undergoing major updates to several components that make this business work for us.
Some services may be temporarily disabled or offline. Websites, Applications, and Email may be affected. I’m working around the clock to ensure everything works but Murphy’s law trumps all.
If you experience any problems with your services please don’t hesitate to contact us. I will personally ensure your service is restored immediately.
I appreciate your patience and cooperation as we make this first big leap into growth.
2012 – Moving Forward
Every turn is full of surprises. Our goal is to break 100 clients by the end of the year. We’re 3/5 there.
Moving forward we plan to create more opportunities for partnerships and alliances.
Since 2010 we’ve made many relationships and transitioned into new partnerships that reinforce us. We’re going to welcome three new team members who will assist with work-flow, support and account management.
We’re so organized it’s a mess. Cleaning the clutter and cutting out unnecessary tasks are what we’re going for. Streamlining operations so we can build the web for our clients’ presence is my primary objective.
Thank Your For Your Business
I personally want to thank each and every one of the businesses, clientele, and talent who have supported and given me this opportunity.

- My baby boy isn’t really a baby any longer. Judah Emerson Thornton turned three last November. I wouldn’t be in business if it weren’t for my son. I find a lot of purpose in parenting him and being his father. We had a wonderful year and enjoyed the holidays. We thank all our clients!
